Arena Review #27 - Sojka Pavilion - Lewisburg, PA
Sojka Pavilion is the Bison's Home Arena for Men's Basketball and is located in Lewisburg, PA. The venue seats 4,000 and opened in 2003. In 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2018, Sojka Pavilion hosted the Patriot League men's basketball tournament championship final game. Sojka Pavilion is a great medium-sized venue to take in a Division 1 College Basketball game. The crowd was ecstatic yesterday afternoon as the Bucknell Bison hosted the Lafayette Leopards in a Patriot League Conference game. The Bison and Leopards traded baskets the majority of the game with the Bison pulling away late in the 2nd Half to win by the final score of 75-65. The Bison's Alex Timmerman had 16 points and 10 rebounds while the Leopards' Justin Vander Baan had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the defeat.
I would highly recommend visiting Sojka Pavilion if you are ever in Lewisburg, PA and are looking to take in a high quality Division 1 Basketball game as Sojka Pavilion is a great venue. Every seat at Sojka Pavilion has you up close to the action on the court and there isn't a bad seat to be had. I will give Sojka Pavilion 4.5 out of 5 stars as the medium-sized venue was electric and the fans were very passionate and engaged as well. I am looking forward to visiting several Arenas in Pennsylvania next weekend. Until then.

2 年Great venue, covered a Patriot League championship game there over a decade ago. When the Bison are good, as they usually are (in a bit of a slump lately), that place is tough for a visiting team.
