Architecture and Design Despite The Stream, An Education Idea for Our Post-modern World

?“As Hegel and Einstein mentioned “our children are born as a part of the nature” without any discrimination in their mind;

The maturation of the individual, in Hegel’s philosophy, is a self-realization arranged in natural, sensuous, actual order and eventually the individual becomes conscious or becomes consciousness. The individual realizes his species being, his individual and universal unity, step by step in his own development, experience and actions, and maturates.?

“In the early stages of consciousness, the distance between the self and its object is the ground for self-actualization.” (ACAR 2016)?

Consciousness mediates the nature to fill this gap in its knowledge. At this point, the process of learning by doing can be viewed as mediating the nature. Mediating the nature can be defined as an act that takes place where theoretically by acquiring knowledge of the nature and practically reproducing it, for example by producing a tool, a furniture, a vehicle or building a house.?

In Hegel, the a-priori (pre-experience) knowledge, that is, the concept, needs the aposteriori (after experience) knowledge because the aposteriori knowledge is its reality. Without the aposteriori, it cannot reach the a-priori and realize itself. Knowledge, as an activity, means the mutual development of direct subjectivity and objectivity. (Acar 2016)?

Consciousness at its origin is not ‘I think’, but it is: ’I can do’.” (Husserl cited by M.Ponty 1945) “What we discovered with the motor skill is ultimately a new meaning for the word ‘meaning’.” (M.Ponty 1945)?

?I think: We are disconnecting our children from the nature and teaching them discrimination in the name of “education”. Maybe its time to rethink the education in this sense to give a chance to our children building a better world for themselves in solidarity and peace. We, as older generations (before the internet) have been born in a village or in a city. Than after we have learned about our country and the world. But the new generations with the internet are directly born in this world. Probably it may not be possible for the younger generations to find a place to put their feet on the ground if it is not possible for the one to learn his/her own time and place. Instead of criticizing their disconnection we can design an education to let them find their own place in the space and time for them to be able to begin to contribute the society. Considering that?the age we are living in is defined as an '?information age?', a look at the history of science and thought without any discrimination seems meaningful.
