Beside the figures, Chicago Architecture Biennial proved that a good cooperation between the local municipality and the private sector pays back with a positive escalation. Venice Biennale 2014 started with a political scandal (the arrest of the mayor for corruption charges), but eventually good architecture became the true protagonist thanks to national pavilions and curator Rem Koolhaas provocation.
