One of my favourite metalcore bands, Architects, unleash their new album, "The Sky, The Earth and All Between", today and it's a cracker!
I first saw Architects live supporting Metallica on their M72 tour in 2023 and 2024.
So I've seen them perform 7 times and they are one of the best and most energetic live bands that you will ever see live. They know how to get an audience going, even one that is not theirs which is the ultimate test of a live band.
So I have seen many of these songs played live already as the band were clearly testing material as early as 2023 for this 2025 album.
As Architects have already released 5 songs from the 12 track album I feel like I know it so well already but it's even better than those five.
I've been listening to it all morning, from the gym, which is definitely one of the best places to listen to any metalcore artist but especially full energy and anger Architects.
Beyond the 5 songs released of which I love "Whiplash" and "Seeing Red", check out the equally energetic opening track, "Elegy" then "Evil Eyes", "Landmines", "Broken Mirror" and the slightly more melodic and slower "Everything Ends", "Judgement Day" with Amira Elefeky and the epic finale, "Chandelier".
There are no fillers on this album, every single track will knock your socks off, blow the cobwebs away and wake you up!
The whole album is truly mesmerising and by the end of it I'm exhausted!
It's a storytelling adventure of anger, bitterness, betrayal, rage, agression, death, mourning, revenge and all between.
Every dark emotion is portrayed, enhanced and expressed here.
As a band full of committed atheists there's also plenty of anti-religious stuff in here too!
Play it loud to truly enjoy it!
It's an adrenalin packed metalcore classic.
Below are the five videos from the album which are all epic and epitomise the entire album which is full of anger, energy, adrenalin, rage and passion.

Architects best album to date, what do you think?
A fascinating interview with the band in The Guardian here:
"Consumed by anger and still mourning a brother and bandmate, the British quartet have written their masterpiece. They explain how they’re fighting self-loathing and trying to age responsibly
In a world of low royalties and short attention spans, not many bands make it to 11 albums, much less have their 11th be their masterpiece. But over the course of 20 years, the metal quartet Architects have inched towards this milestone.
The Sky, the Earth & All Between sets out its scale in its title, where gigantic pop choruses soar over hellish chasms of churning noise, resulting in the most consistently sublime British rock album of this decade. The band are now at their arena-filling, Metallica-supporting peak, adored by millions."
Spot on. I love it.
What do you think of it? Play it loud to hear it in all it;s magnificent glory!
Enjoy! ????????
