There I was, peeking through the glass opening, into a classroom full of zest!
?
Pencils rode on the fresh sheets,
some with confidence, some careful, not to scar the perfect whiteness…
Papers were full of cuts and folds,
origami took the form of a dance floor, a roof, an exhibit, and a home…
A girl drifted her gaze through a group of boys,
cautious enough to not get caught, looking at her poster boy…
?
Somewhere in the corner, I spot a kid grinning at me…
Years had passed…
?
A version of me was right there,
Hiding chips from those in-charge,
Cracking up at pesky jokes,
Repairing my tampered work…
Unaware,
The years will pass!!!
