Job Responsibilities

  • The architect is expected to have experience in SFDC design & development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visual force, Apex, Lightning Design systems and Integration with other systems.
  • Supports the implementation of customized SFDC solutions that include Lightning components. Includes developing a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements then applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of the software to design and build an optimal solution that supports the business process and meets or exceeds functional requirements.
  • The architect will be responsible for the detailed design of technical solutions, and will document the technical design and manage developers throughout the development, testing and support phases.
  • Collaborate with external teams on integration and Establish integration standards for complex integrations.
  • Builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them to adoption of the best solution.
  • Works closely with the Software Implementation Technical Architects to ensure the solution is technically feasibility and to identify areas to reduce implementation efforts.
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
  • Manage daily support and maintenance of internal Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
  • Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow
  • Provide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated to implement capabilities based on business requirements and solution design
  • Supply expertise in advanced Apex programming concepts including common design patterns, governor limit management techniques, bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, and asynchronous operations
  • Design, develop, test, document and deploy third-party integrations with Salesforce
  • Plan, design, develop, test and deploy solutions within an agile SDLC framework that delivers high-quality code on a frequent basis
  • Produce class diagrams, component diagrams, sequence diagrams and similar documentation
  • Create and manage automated unit tests of Salesforce platform code developed by the team
  • Engage in code and technical design reviews of solution implementations to ensure code quality and best practices are maintained
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure technical solution designs adhere to architectural strategies of the team
  • Collaborate with quality assurance team members in designing functional and automated test plans for solutions, and participate in the overall QA process

?Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent in experience)
  • Minimum work experience: 8 years of software development and 5 years of Salesforce application development
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent in experience)
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with evidence of exceptional ability
  • Experience configuring and developing custom Apex/Visualforce/Lightning code in the areas of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Workflows, Mobile, Single Sign On, API’s, Marketo and integration to enterprise systems.
  • Extensive experience developing Apex classes, Apex triggers, VisualForce pages and controllers,JavaScript, JQuery, web services leveraging the Salesforce API in REST, SOAP and Data Management (SQL, XML, JSON) knowledge.
  • Experience with a complete software development life cycle
  • Experience developing with Lightning, OR an SPA framework such as React, Angular, or Knockout.
  • Experience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery / DevOps is preferred
  • Experience developing in another enterprise development ecosystem, such as Java or .NET is preferred

Preferred:

  • Certified SFDC Application architect.
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant

Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
