'The Archaeology of a story'
"The seeds of narrative dynamism are there, ready in the narrative elements, but it requires talented narrators to hit upon and make use of them.” Max Luthi
I am leading a creative, practical masterclass in London, on October 26 and 27, called ''The Archaeology of a story'. The course is for storytellers with some experience. Bring a story that you want to work on. You will have the chance to excavate your story, to work with me and dig into it, explore many small parts of it and discover some of the treasures buried inside. We will be using: writing; telling; improvisation; visualisation; movement; drawing; sound; discussion and sharing.
I have distilled my long practise as a storyteller into an idea I call the '24 Story Seeds'. These seeds are buried inside traditional narratives themselves - waiting for storytellers to find them. We will be searching for some of these seeds and helping them grow. You can find out more about the '24 Story Seeds' in the film below. And find full details of the course here: https://sallypommeclayton.com/?p=2525 There are only two places left on the course - so do get in touch for more details: [email protected]
