Arch is the Digital Admin for Private Investments

To support our mission of building the missing infrastructure for managing and understanding alternative investments, our engineering team is actively designing and implementing upgrades to the Arch platform. We are excited to share several key updates to the Arch user experience this quarter:

1. Advanced Filtering to Better Understand Your Data

Custom Date Filter for All Account Activity:?

Looking for updates / activities for a specific time period?

Arch added a date selector, giving users the ability to filter the "Account Activity" page by a specific time period. Arch has also introduced "Next" and "Previous" Arrows within an activity, allowing users to move chronologically between activity details pages when you click on "Details" in the table below.?

Quick Reminder:

The Arch Activity Page is the source of truth for all incoming notices and documents across private investment managers. You can use Arch's search tool, filtering, and now date filtering to find the updates you're looking for by entity, manager, fund, activity type, and time period.

2. Updates to New User Roles and New User Activation

New User Activation:

The functionality and experience for adding new users received a major upgrade this quarter. Full-access users (those with administrative rights) can now invite a new end user, determine their initial Arch Digest frequency, specify which accounts they should access, and send a personalized welcome message.?

To add a new user, navigate to your "Account Settings" page and click on the account you would like to add a user for (to add a user to multiple accounts, select all relevant accounts using the "add to" dropdown). The table below outlines Arch's user types and permissions.?

Tax User Access Updates:

Looking to provide more flexibility with regards to how tax accountants access tax documents on Arch? Arch added a new user type called "Informed Tax User," which builds on the "Tax Only" user type (which can only access tax documents), while allowing the user to manage more tax specific functionality, like which documents are expected in a given year.

Quick Reminder:?

Arch automates the tracking, collection, and storage of tax documents (K-1s, K-2s, K-3s & 1099s). Arch provides a secure digital tax inventory that can be shared across the internal team members, as well as external parties (i.e. CPA, accounting firm, etc.). Arch will also track the expected date for K-1 receipt and automatically follow up on any missing documents on your behalf.

3. Arch's New Help Center

Now, any user with access to the Arch portal will be able to search and find answers to the top Frequently Asked Questions in the Arch help center!?

The Arch Help Center can be found through our chat function on the portal (Intercom in the bottom right) or by visiting our Advice and Answers Page. Example articles range from how to add a new user to an overview of the client onboarding process.?
