Arc on Windows, On Deck: Settings
Welcome to Vol. 2 of Arc on Windows, On Deck a mini digest sharing behind-the-scenes with you as we bring Arc to Windows. It's me Mark Llewellyn Dyer - I'll be your host as we dive into an often overlooked, but very important feature coming to Windows soon, Settings.
Arc is all about customization and personalization. Your Arc Sidebar is home for all your internet stuff arranged exactly how you like it with a theme to match. And while Arc for Windows beta has had Sidebar customization options for a while now, we’ve been missing a crucial component for Member customization — Settings.
I love settings. I love settings on everything. Apps, computers, phones, drum machines, Pelotons, ovens (please don’t hack my oven). It’s the first thing I open when I download a new app or power up a new device. I love getting things dialed in just the way I like them so whenever I go to use that app or device I know it’s going to perform exactly how I want. It makes it feel more like mine.
With the new Settings panel coming in a future release you’ll be able to set up your Arc just the way you like it.
Members will be able to:
Settings will be is easily accessible through the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + , or Arc menu > Settings.

1 年I love Arc, it is my daily driver! Too bad Windows users cannot experience that tiny bezel all the way around as on the Mac.

1 年Great to see windows is making great progress. Still laboring with Edge on Windows even though I signed up for the windows beta the day it was announced. As someone who uses both Mac and windows on a daily basis, the slow windows beta rollout is really frustrating.
