Arc Human Services Honors Longstanding Employees at Reception

Arc Human Services held a special reception on November 13th to recognize the dedication and service of staff members who have reached significant milestones with the organization. This celebration honored employees who have served Arc Human Services for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years.?

Held at their headquarters in Canonsburg, PA, the event brought together staff, and the individuals they support, to celebrate these incredible team members, whose hard work and commitment continue to support Arc’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges across Pennsylvania. Each honoree received a certificate commemorating their years of service, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the organization and the communities we serve.?

Michelle Kemis, Workforce Manager, who was honored for her 25 years with Arc Human Services, said that the people Arc Human Service supports are the reason she’s been working here so long. “It’s just knowing that at the end of the day what I do is helping other people. I think that if you really sat down with any one of our individuals and asked, they're happy. They are living the life that they want to live to the ability that they're able to.? And I think that's what we all want.”?

Joe Scrip, CFO of Arc Human Services, introduced each recipient, remarking on their skills and dedication. Of Michelle Kemis Joe said, “Michelle has been a true asset to the entire team over her 25 years of service...her commitment and dedication to the individuals she’s supported and the staff she’s trained is a true inspiration. To dedicate 25 years of your life to anything is remarkable, so we are profoundly grateful that Michelle has picked Arc Human Services to make her mark on the world.”?

In total 49 employees were recognized and thanked for their continuing service and commitment to Arc Human Services.??
