ARC Celebrates Tulip Time Festival with Vibrant Locomotive Decorations in Partnership with EV Construction and CSX Transportation

ARC Document Solutions is delighted to share the overwhelming positive reception of the decorated CSX locomotive, which featured giant tulip cutouts during the City of Holland's annual Tulip Time festival from May 4-12, 2024. This enchanting display was made possible through a unique collaboration between CSX, EV Construction, and ARC Document Solutions, along with the dedicated train crew of the Y121.

In keeping with the spirit of the festival, a CSX locomotive was adorned with vibrant tulip cutouts, which were expertly created by ARC Document Solutions. These cutouts mirrored the decorative efforts of EV Construction at their nearby site. ARC Document Solutions played a crucial role by crafting all the tulip cutouts and signage for this event, enhancing the visual appeal and ensuring a cohesive festive atmosphere that captivated residents and visitors alike.

The concept originated from CSX crew members, Engineer Herb Theadore and Conductor Chris Larson, who drew inspiration from the tulip decorations at the EV Construction site. Their initiative, combined with the collaborative efforts of Joe Shashaguay, Jr., Field Manager for EV Construction, who supported the idea, highlighted the strong community bonds and mutual respect along the CSX routes. ARC Document Solutions was proud to contribute its expertise in crafting the tulip cutouts and signage that tied the entire visual presentation together.

The decorated locomotive quickly became a centerpiece of the Tulip Time festival, attracting smiles, waves, and countless photographs from festival-goers.
