Arbikie - a family business

We are very proud to be a family business at Arbikie Highland Estate having inherited the farming business created by our mother and father that allowed us to adopt our unique field-to-bottle approach to distilling.

As many celebrate Father's Day today, I want to pay tribute to our father, Alex Stirling who worked all his days, having left school at 13 and was taken from us by MND. Dad worked endlessly to build a significant agri-business that is the cornerstone of what we have at Arbikie. Mum and Dad instilled the family values in us that is the DNA of Arbikie and built the platform for us to create a legacy, family business. As I often joke, we have 390 years to catch-up with our family farming business, as we approach our 10th birthday at Arbikie.

As we expand across the world we're very proud to work with many family businesses as our in-market distributors/importers, such as Winebow, Alba Import oHG & Inverarity Morton with the long-term family business approach and long-term relationships that help create long-term, profitable partnerships.

We want to create a sustainable business, both in terms of being long-term and one which looks after our environment, as custodians of our lands at Lunan Bay on Scotland's sunny east coast.
