Arab Health 2023 - Energy for the future

#ArabHealth2023, the major gathering of the Healthcare market in the Middle East, with more than 3000 exhibitors from more than 70 countries. Among them a nice representation from Belgian economic organisations such as? FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade ?,? Wallonia Export and Investment Agency - Embassy of Belgium in KSA (AWEX Riyadh) ?and? hub.brussels .

Why do we as? Hict ?,? Kerteza ?and? THE Institute vzw/ngo ?have to be there? Very simple: this event brings together what is happening in the Middle East Market. The regional expertise, the solutions, the experts, are the makings for a promising future in?#healthcare.

We have seen the evolution of healthcare before and after #covid19 , but now?#innovation, speed of change, shift of stakeholders, adoption of?#technology?and?#policies?of governments are speeding up the process of Healthcare Transformation in many dimensions.?

Countries, provider networks, industrial?#partners?and #governments work hand in hand to implement these transformations. Evidence, HTA, change, value, population health, MedTech, Connected care, prevention, mental health, etc. The actual themes – the WHY’s – are filled with extraordinary solutions based on innovative technology, therapies, infrastructure and expertise of motivated and engaged healthcare stakeholders.?

What impressed me personally is the positive vibe of the sector – even after the pandemic. As a sector we must work smarter, react faster, more efficient with?#quality?of care as a major driver.?The value of our services become the major goal, the patient or citizen our major partner in this challenge.

The second thing that impressed me was the?#professional?representation of the Middle Eastern and Asian markets. I met some amazing companies and clients taking fantastic initiatives to provide qualitative care in fast growing regions. Regions where the expectations of the healthcare delivery are raising. Their conviction to succeed in this mission is impressive. Their energy to shift their?#model?of care is inspiring. They focus on?#opportunities?instead of using the hurdles as an excuse. This is something we should take note of more often.

The above is supporting our strategic choice for an added international focus on the Middle East Market as a Healthcare Consulting group with?#Hict,?#Kerteza?and?#THEInstitute.?13 years ago, when we started in this region, consulting and services did not catch a lot of attention on the Middle East Market.?Over the years, an exponential change from infrastructure to technology, over solutions to – today – #expertise and #value in healthcare have become major goals.

As an example, the evolution and focus we see in Saudi Arabia is never seen.
