AR and VR for manufacturing
Augmented reality and Virtual reality have come to manufacturing. Many say that AR is better. Other say it is VR.
My opinion, is that AR and VR are really different, and this difference is clearly seen by the way manufacturers start to use it.
Two examples:
- Volkswagen using VR: the important word is "collaboration"
- Airbus using AR: the important words are "manufacturing efficiency"
So, to my mind, AR and VR are just two different things, which could and should be used, both of them.
