Aquatic Drones To Combat Water Pollution
How about a startup idea to create better environmental monitoring?
In India, water pollution continues to remain a worrying issue that threatens ecosystems and public health.
How about aquatic drones with sensors and cameras that could monitor polluted water bodies in India? This could collect real-time data on pollution levels of the water.
Imagine if a drone had a sensor, like a spectrometer, to extract accurate information about the condition of water bodies. It's said that different pollutants may absorb and scatter light in different ways. So, a spectrometer may be able to identify the presence of specific pollutants.
Revenue could come from the sale of aquatic drones and services to environmental agencies. There could be a subscription service giving subscribers access to real-time data and predictive analytics.
What do you think of this idea? Is the startup viable and scalable? What are the flaws in the idea?
