AQRisk welcomes top-tier IT executives as investors

Lab resident and member of Copenhagen Fintech, AQRisk, receives first external funding and welcomes Klaus Holse, Peter Colsted and Georg Hetrodt as investors and newly founded advisory board.?

According to AQRisk, the new cohort of investors brings great international experience and know-how from top-tier tech companies like SimCorp and Microsoft. These competencies will assist in scaling the company internationally.?

AQRisk is a specialized Danish fintech start-up that brings innovative applications to help solve fundamental analytical challenges in banking. They rethink optimized banking in close cooperation with customers, and offer solutions for the future of banking by effectively utilizing data, quantitative methodology and technology.?

So far, AQRisk has been bootstrapping, and has realized profitable growth in the Danish market with 10 banks as current customers and a strong pipeline in the Danish and Nordic markets. The company is now looking to scale internationally, and will start targeting the massive banking market in Germany:
