The electrification and renewable power conversion & storage at the Australian Valve Centre has reached carbon neutral and will be well into carbon negative after stage III is completed in April. APV & GSL have expanded our range of green energy hydrogen & geothermal valves as well as mining valves to support the green revolution. For the gas market, GSL stocks the largest range of fugitive emission certified valves on the planet and all packed valves have FE packing. We can perform in-house FE production testing and are working with clients to reduce methane emissions further for gas driven actuation & panel systems from venting to the use of FE (& firesafe) certified valves on the panel and bypasses. The worlds largest inventory avoids air freight carbon miles and being a centrally located (Adelaide) one-stop-shop (actuators, flanges, fittings, strainers, sight glasses, studs, gaskets, instrument valves & fittings, controls, gearboxes all on the shelf (check out stock list at our website) that ALSO performs all engineering, paint, automation and testing in-house also reduces local & interstate carbon miles. Supplying high quality valves (and stocked in a higher specification) avoids early repair and replacement and methane leakage. Fully trained technical staff help you get it right the first time and avoid costly returns and delays.

We have no local or interstate travelling sales representatives, no longer participate in trade shows, all meetings are online and the average staff commute time to work is 15 minutes. By purchasing large lots of valves for stock and managing regular fast track projects, we have the luxury of fully utilising ‘20 foot’ containers having worked with our suppliers to nest and triple stack to further reduce carbon miles. Full in-house HP & LP testing provides ease of further verification of ultra low emission valves. With 40 staff we have average one single flight a year including our managing director/owner with carbon credits of course. We have no plane flying/limo driving board members and no top level management structure just an efficient, self managed team with one coach!
