APT Sponsors MacDonough Hall Site Visit

A big shoutout to the Washington DC Chapter of APT and to Consigli Construction for the opportunity to tour MacDonough Hall on the at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. The November 14, 2022 tour allowed those attending to "peer behind the curtain" of this lovely building while it is being restored. MacDonough Hall was built in 1903 as a dry dock facility, and was converted into a gymnasium in the early 20th century. The building envelope consists of granite, terracotta, and steel facade with historic copper roofing and large clerestory windows. A real gem!
