APT GLOBAL DELIVERS REINSTATEMENT PROJECT FOR HEAVY TRANSPORT VESSEL FORTE

Boskalis, world leaders in semi- submersible heavy transport, contracted APT Global for removal of all deck grillages and reinstatement of vessel for the next project.

The project involved removal of steel, deck structures, approximately 3500 tons in different configurations from forward to aft, spread across the deck and on completion to clean the deck and make it ready for the next project.

Project was carried out at APT private Quay side in RAK Maritime city. Whole job involved 13,8 Kilometers of steel cutting ,1500 meters of gouging for deck preparation and 248 crane lift movements.

The time allocated was minimal at 15 days and APT Global delivered exactly on date designated in line with APT Global safety policies, and Boskalis standards of zero accident/ zero incident.

The Project was completed with zero incidents. The above highlights APT Global expertise in heavy projects and commitment to high safety standards. The operation involved careful planning, coordination, and adherence to stringent safety procedures.

Material removed from the vessel will be recycled as per green protocols of European Union. (APT Global is the only green ship recycling company in United Arab Emirates.)
