Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology

Do you need team members qualified to work on mining trucks, excavators, or perform the work of a heavy-duty diesel fitter, plant mechanic, or mobile plant technician? Our Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology is the perfect starting point.

This entry-level course equips your team with the essential skills they need to tackle day-to-day challenges in the field. APT offers flexible delivery options to ensure minimal downtime while maximising on-the-job experience:

Your team can complete their theoretical training online while earning practical credits by doing real-world tasks on the job with workplace-based training. Regular site visits from our experienced trainers ensure your team stays motivated and supported.

Certificate IV in Engineering (Fluid Power)

If your team needs to go beyond the basics, our Certificate IV in Engineering (Fluid Power) is designed to elevate their hydraulics knowledge and prepare them for working on complex systems. This course focuses on maintaining and operating systems that are efficient, safe, and reliable.

APT offers flexible delivery options, including our popular blended learning model, which allows students to complete theoretical units online and attend practical sessions at our Newcastle workshop. The course can also be completed via an Australian Apprenticeship Pathway.

For those looking to up-skill quickly, we offer an Accelerated Program for tradespeople. Using recognition of prior learning or direct credit from previous qualifications, we can fast-track your team’s certification.

Hydraulics Short Courses

When time is of the essence, our Hydraulics Short Courses are the ideal solution for getting your team site-ready. In just six days, your team will complete the Hydraulics 1 and 2 units, gaining hands-on experience in a controlled environment. An additional two days are available to cover Pneumatics 1 and 2.

With minimal downtime, our short courses ensure your team can quickly bridge any skill gaps and get back to work safely and efficiently.
