The Yirra Miya Family ??
Our team continues to grow and thrive! We're so proud of the work we do and the culture we're building together.?
Our Cultural Designer Lauren has recently returned to work after maternity leave, having her little boori ‘baby’ late last year (wow he is so darn adorable!). We love having her back on board, and we're excited to share some cool scopes of work she is already working on,?including a Reconciliation Action Plan artwork, colouring book design for a previous client and some artwork digitalisation for Weenthunga!

Events & Connection
It's been a jam-packed few months. We're so grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside you all.
Last month, we celebrated International Women's Day, and our very own Leticia was a guest speaker at the Koiop Connect IWD luncheon. She shared her journey of vulnerability, overcoming fears, self-care, love, and navigating her path as a woman and a mum in business. We're so proud to have such an amazing and inspiring leader at Yirra Miya ??
To all the deadly women and people in our community, we hope you had a fantastic International Women's Day!
Leticia also had the opportunity to see the artwork she created for Croydon Health Services face-to-face at the launch of their Child Protection Therapy Room for children and young people.
Here is a snippet of the story:
“The artwork shares the essence of youthful curiosity, strength, and vulnerability when navigating the path to healing from trauma and healing the inner child. This is represented through the children and young people layered within their safe space with the outer layer representing their resilience, healing and growth from within. The children and young people stand together from all demographics and experiences healing through a collective journey.”
- Leticia Anne, Owner & Creative Director Yirra Miya
