April Updates

April Updates

Hi ?? We are happy to inform our supporters of our recent breakfast event for school children without access to meals before and during schooling. Also, our organization has completed more community outreach and program development for children's education and community health. We are excited to continue creating opportunities and support to uplift our surrounding communities!

Free Breakfast Event for Students

3 April, 2024

We visited Rhianna Nursery and Primary School in Busanzi Village and provided 48 children with free breakfast. Most of these children are unable to eat while they are at school because their families cannot afford it. They wait until their day is over and they are back with their families before they eat a meal. Since our organization believes in equitable education, we could not help but recognize how a lack of nutrition must impact these children's schooling experience as well as their health. We are so thankful for our donors who allowed our volunteers to host this event. Thanks to all your support, these children started their day feeling well-fed and blessed.

As the school semesters come to a close and children prepare for the next semester, we are planning upcoming events. So look out for those on our Website and Instagram for more info :)

Updates on Our Sponsor a Child Program

We are happy to announce, we have 3 children officially sponsored for their education careers! These sponsorships are so important to the children and their families.

Our donors alleviate the stress on the children and their families surrounding school as well as open doors for the children that would not have otherwise been opened.

As we have gone through villages and documented impoverished families and their needs, we have encountered and continue to encounter many children living in severe poverty. Specifically, we have met 2 children who recently had their mother pass away, leaving them with no support system for them because the father had left already. Whether you can donate once or monthly, your support can greatly change the lives of these children as they grow into adulthood.

Launching New Health Programs

Over the past month, we have expanded our initiatives to include our commitment to health equity and disease prevention. We understand how pivotal health education and resource distribution are for disease prevention.

Uganda hosts over 12 million Malaria cases every year and has over 1.5 million citizens with HIV. These diseases continue to pose major problems and threats to Ugandans' health and well-being.

We are committed to utilizing our outreach as a means for health education and outreach.

We have hosted events in previous months where we have offered free medical services and health checkups to rural and impoverished areas. These areas have no access to a hospital or adequate medical services. The obvious gratitude of these communities for our service continues to inspire our efforts. Thus, we have strategized and established our foundation's health initiatives as we go forward.

And keep an eye out for our future health equity outreach efforts and free health education for children :)
