April Reflections: Key Learnings and Celebratory Moments
April has been filled with notable achievements, enriching experiences, and significant learnings.
As we spring forward, I wanted to share the highlights and reflections that continue to propel my personal and professional journey alongside fostering deep connections within the tech community and beyond.
Launch of the Santander Women Business Leaders' Mentoring Program
This month, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the Santander Women Business Leaders' Mentoring Program, everyone fuelled with excitement and high-energy for what is to come.
In addition I met my mentee, Natalie Campion , CEO & Co-Founder of KEVRI . Natalie's vision for KEVRI, an all-in-one AI-driven platform designed to connect academic and startup founders with funding opportunities, is nothing short of revolutionary.
This innovative approach not only fosters successful collaborations but also streamlines the often daunting process of bringing groundbreaking ideas to life. Natalie’s drive and clarity of purpose are inspirational, and I’m excited to guide her on this journey.
Empowering Business Owners to Overcome Procrastination
Continuing the theme of business owners, in line with our focus on peak performance, I facilitated an interactive coaching and mentoring session with a mastermind group of business owners centered on overcoming procrastination.
We delved into understanding triggers, dissecting causes, and exploring viable solutions. This session is designed to enhance productivity and effectiveness, enabling entrepreneurs to take control and propel their businesses forward.
Exclusive Retreats for Unmatched Growth
We are on the brink of filling our third, much-anticipated 7-day Caribbean Retreat scheduled for October, 'Business Strategy & Mindset'. With only two spots remaining, the excitement is palpable.

Client Success Stories and New Beginnings
April was also a month of welcoming new faces and celebrating client successes. I had the privilege of adding two new clients to our fold—one joining the Leadership Launchpad and another embarking on a one-on-one coaching journey. Moreover, witnessing one of my clients receive a prestigious award for his exemplary performance within his company was a truly proud moment. It reaffirms the impact of dedicated coaching and the potential of our collaborative efforts.
Networking and Industry Engagement
Mondays have brought a new rhythm to my professional life, thanks to the NatWest "Setting up for Success" Business Builder program. These first four weeks have been instrumental in forging new connections and dedicating focused time to work ON my business. As well as delivering my first ever 60-second pitch ! Thank you Daniel Copsey for your energy, enthusiasm, commitment and meaningful insights you bring to our cohort. I am looking forward to what the remaining two weeks brings later this month!
Additionally, speaking at Dr Vanessa Vallely OBE #OneTechWorld conference was a highlight of the month. My keynote, ‘Leverage Your Competitive Advantage to Advance Your Career,’ aimed to inspire and equip industry professionals with the tools to excel in the tech space. This was an amazing experience, with the added opportunity to expand my connections in the tech space, and listening to other renowned and remarkable speakers, all sharing their mission for empowering women in tech.
Celebrating Life’s Milestones
April wasn't all work; it was also a month of joy and celebration. From attending a dear college friend's 50th birthday to celebrating my partner's birthday in the scenic city of Bath, these moments are reminders of the beautiful balance between personal happiness and professional fulfillment.
Continuous Personal and Professional Development
My commitment to growth extends beyond my clients. This month, I engaged deeply with my coaches to refine my business strategy and delve into the inner work necessary to consistently show up at 100% for my clients. This ongoing activity is essential for personal alignment and professional excellence - key values for me both in business and in life.
As we look back at the eventful month of April, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities to grow, connect, and lead.
