The EU voted to pass the Markets in Crypto Act which includes rules to impose requirements on crypto platforms, token issuers, and traders concerning transparency, disclosure, authorization, and supervision of transactions. This is considered to be the most comprehensive set of digital asset regulations so far. 

Forbes: A New ChatGPT-Powered Bot Named Satoshi Looks to Help Crypto Traders. FalconX, a prime broker, is developing a chatbot that will allow clients to pose natural language questions to aid in their investment research. The technology also aims to be able to generate investment ideas based on each individual user's trading history and interests.

Markets Insider: U.S. House Committee Publishes Draft Stablecoin Bill. House Financial Services Committee released a new draft of legislation to regulate stablecoin issuers. It aims to restart stalled negotiations last fall on an area that has bipartisan agreement in its need for regulation.

CoinDesk: Gemini to Open a Crypto Derivatives Platform Outside the U.S. Due to the regulatory environment within the U.S., major U.S. crypto exchanges, such as Gemini and Coinbase, are actively exploring offshore expansions.

Bloomberg: A $1.5 Trillion Wall of Debt Is Looming for U.S. Commercial Properties.  Almost $1.5 trillion in U.S. commercial debt is due for repayment before 2025. Morgan Stanley analysts declare that "refinancing risks are front and center." About 70% of non-apartment commercial real estate loans are held by banks, with regional and local banks being the largest credit providers. 

Nature: SpaceX Starship: Launch of Biggest Ever Rocket Ends with Explosion. The Starship successfully lifted off but exploded before it reached space, ending the first major test flight of the largest rocket ever built. SpaceX views the launch as a major accomplishment with the next tests in the coming months. The Starship is meant to kick off a new era of space exploration, including sending humans to the Moon and Mars, and enabling new types of astrophysics and planetary science.

LiveScience: Brain Images Just Got 64 Million Times Sharper. Researchers from Duke and other notable universities have captured the sharpest images of a mouse brain ever with new technology that they believe will change how we visualize the connectivity of the brain. This could potentially provide new insight into neurodegenerative diseases and brain function.
