April Newsletter

April Newsletter

This month we welcomed Spring, celebrated Easter and enjoyed an extra break with two bank holidays!

We started the design work on two new projects and continued progressing nicely on all existing projects. The LionsPrep app has been continuously updated throughout the month to ensure it allows for the best user experience possible.

This month we also welcomed back one of our lead developers Nikol and began talks with a potentially new and exciting client!

We had the pleasure of two blog posts this April, the first from our Junior Full-Stack Developer, Danny, discussing the difference between developing as a hobby vs as a career; and another blog from our Full-Stack Developer, Joe, discussing 5 ways to improve your development speed and how he is still improving every day.

Reintroducing The Team

It's been a while since we were all in the office for a group picture, so we thought we would grab this opportunity to reintroduce ourselves. Our team consists of our founder, Sean; our Full-Stack Developers, Joe, Nikol, Phoebe & Matt; our Junior Full-Stack Developer, Danny; our Apprentice Full-Stack Developers, Faryal, Hollie & Mollie; our Web Designer, Hajni; our Marketing & Project Coordinator, Rachel; and last but certainly not least, our Office Administrator, Ronnie. We're a small company, but when we work together we know how to get the job done! Check out our 'Meet The Team' video to find out some of our office quirks!

Employee Spotlight

This month's employee spotlight goes to our Full-Stack Developer, Nikol!

After returning from leave, Nikol has jumped straight back into her work and has instantly gained back her title of being the powerhouse in the office. With no problem too difficult to crack, Nikol proves time and time again that her coding skills are unmatched! The whole office is thrilled to have Nikol back with us!

"A very talented developer with an exceptional career ahead of her, we are very lucky to have Nikol working for Pecometer as she ushered in a new era for the business." - Our Founder, Sean

We are so grateful to have Nikol on our team and proud of everything she continues to achieve.

Ashley Gregory Racing Update

As stated previously, starting this year we have entered into a sponsor partnership with Ashley Gregory Racing and will continue to support her journey throughout the year. This month, Ashley attended her first race of the season which is widely viewed as one of the most competitive one-make championships in the UK. Ashley successfully claimed runners-up laurels in a frenetic second contest around the Indy circuit.?

Ashley also let us know about the amount of enquiries she received from our logo on her car, with people asking her what we specialise in and how we could help their business.

We're looking forward to the next few months in hope for more sunshine and new exciting work!

Next month we have our annual work party, so look out for May's newsletter to see what we get up to when we're let loose in Manchester!!
