Looking back to the 2023 UN Water Conference

Innovation Takes Center Stage: Aquacycl and FieldFactors took top honors at the Boiling Point pitch competition hosted by Imagine H2O and Wavin. The lively event showcased three other portfolio companies Puraffinity, BlueConduit, and Epic Cleantec. Our judges included representatives from Dhaka WASA, Aqualateral, World Economic Forum, Wavin Group and Burnt Island Ventures.

Strengthening our Partnerships: Our friends at the Water Environment Federation hosted a session on water’s role in the circular economy featuring Scott Bryan, Brianne Nakamura, P.E., and Paul O'Callaghan in conversation with Barry Liner. Additionally, we joined many of our partners, including Xylem Innovation Labs, Veolia, and Aqualateral on-stage, in the halls of the UN and over meals. Our partnership with BlueTech Research continues to grow, and we look forward to supporting the launch of Brave Blue World Foundation 's second film. Burnt Island Ventures, Xylem, and Imagine H2O hosted an innovators reception bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry partners. Women in Water: We joined Wavin’s Women in Water for an evening of conversations and cocktails with women in the water sector. So great to see so many women at the event.

Our alumni in force! Founders from 14 Imagine H2O companies attended the conference. Many joined our Founders Lunch, which provided a pause in the conference chaos for great conversations around the fundraising environment, collaboration initiatives, and pivots.
