April showers can’t keep Horizon Works down…

The weather may have been largely cold and miserable this spring, but things have certainly been hotting up at Horizon Works!

L - R Paul Livingston, NOF and Samantha Vassallo, Horizon Works

We’ve started working with some exciting new clients, including de-icing and heat transfer solutions pioneer Kilfrost and RS Industrial Services , which provides crane and lifting solutions, industrial and safety supplies and accredited industry training courses.

There’s also been a fantastic new addition to our team – Creative Artworker Judith Alderson – who you can read about below!

Plus, we’ve been exhibiting, networking and drinking copious amounts of coffee at events across North East England. We were at Hardwick Hall, County Durham for the Energi Coast Regional Supply Chain Showcase event organised by NOF on 17th April, where our business card draw, for a Lego wind turbine and jack-up vessel, unsurprisingly proved extremely popular!

And we were at Ramside Hall Hotel for another NOF event the following week – this time the AWE and Make UK Defence – for more valuable sector insight.

We also heard speakers from across industry take on the skills gap challenge at the Engineers and Manufacturers Assemble - Recruitment and Retention conference on 26th April, organised by the Engineering and Manufacturing Network . Challenges and solutions were discussed in this vibrant event at TDR Training & Trust . It gave everyone a lot of food for thought.

As you can see from this newsletter, you can chat to the team – and tap into our B2B marketing expertise – at a host of events in May. We’d love to see you!

Have any feedback, or would like to know more about how we can support you?

Please?get in touch.
