A guide for youngsters to mix the perfect finance cocktail that tends to all their personal finance needs!
Hello!
April! The first fresh month of the new financial year! This month saw March Madness continue, as the markets remained volatile and the global situation still in turmoil. There are rumours of yet another wave of the pandemic hitting, and it looks like it’s still not the end of COVID just yet!?
India saw fuel prices shoot through the roof causing an undue burden on our precious savings. Travellers have just started to see the world open up to find some respite, but just as jet fuel prices give travel inflation a kick, restrictions on international movements might return. We hope you’ve done your tax planning for the past year because it seems like this financial year will hold almost as much drama as the last, if not more!
We got invited to conduct a workshop at Babson College in Boston last week. And oh what an experience it was!

Hot News?????
Too many things happened in March but here are my top picks of the month’s financial news, to refresh your memory!?
Fin-Tip Of The Month ????
???? When the markets are volatile, a lot of us are tempted to deviate from our strategic asset allocation. Sometimes we even become risk-averse and start taking more risks in order to compensate for the lack of returns.
?? If that even remotely described your investment personality, use the 100-Age rule to stay focused! According to the rule, you should subtract your age from 100 to arrive at the ideal asset allocation for your investments. So, if you are 30, then 100-30 would give 70, which is the percentage of equity you may have in your portfolio, leaving your Equity to Debt ratio to 70:30.
Mutual Panga ????
This time around we want to bring to you our top picks for ELSS/Tax Saver Funds so you can research further and start investing now at the start of the financial year for optimum benefit and a few Gold ETFs.
