Trends Catching Our Eye
CIO Dive highlighted the fact that employers across the U.S. economy added 197,000 tech positions in March. We're taking this as a sign that tech jobs are finally rebounding after a long couple of months in the tech industry. March results put current tech hiring at a seven-month high while unemployment for tech positions remained unchanged at 2.2%.?
CompTIA research shows that positions for software developers & engineers are accounting for the largest share of job postings from March. Employers are also proving to be in the market for IT support specialists, systems engineers/ analysts, IT project managers, and cybersecurity analysts/engineers. As we look at this data, we're getting excited to dive in and start building our pipeline with these specific candidates!
When it comes to engaging tech talent and building out our talent pipeline,?we like to follow these simple guidelines in order to stay consistent and efficient! Check out our LinkedIn to be in tune with content like this and more!?
CompTIA's State of the Tech Workforce report shows an abundance of data on the U.S. tech workforce! Some statistics we're keeping an eye on are the projected net new jobs for 2023, the number of tech business establishments in the U.S. (and how that number is growing), and the projected growth rate for tech jobs over the next decade.
