April: Amsterdam, All Hours & All Aboard!
Easter is a long-lost memory, and the weather has been its most chaotic self, but that hasn't dampened the spirits of our Primary team!
We have delivered a huge global virtual event, live events here in the UK, and we have been on an industry forum in the Netherlands to expand our learning.
Here are the April highlights at Primary and what's to come in May!
Am Fam
Kickstarting April, the team attended the Conference & Incentive Travel (C&IT) International Forum in Amsterdam.
This proved an invaluable insight into the latest trends within our industry and those affecting global business conscience. Hot topics included sustainability, diversity and audience engagement - the cornerstones of every business and event agenda, everywhere!
It was fantastic to deepen our understanding by attending numerous keynote speeches, presentations, and interactive workshops, and a great chance to share knowledge with other industry peers.
We also had the opportunity to explore the city, with river cruises, cycling and walking tours around Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Conference in the Capital
We have also returned to London this month. Based at the Leonardo Hotels in Tower Bridge, on-site to support 西门子 with their User Conference.
The event entailed hosting 200 delegates with a busy, two-day content schedule, demo pods and agenda tracks. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, balancing time between the main agenda and networking sessions to help delegates forge important relationships.
Day one ended with a drinks reception, a beautiful three-course dinner and a cruise along the Thames. Watching the city turn from day to night is a sight we'll never tire of seeing!
Virtually Global
A 2am call time isn't something we'd like to do too often, but whatever is needed to get the job done!
Some of the team have had a, somewhat, tiring end to the month, as we supported with a global, virtual conference to thousands of delegates.
Over the last two weeks, we have been live across Europe, America, and Asia. Broadcasting from the studio here in the Midlands meant being available across multiple time zones, to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Managing the platform, running the green room, and being on hand to troubleshoot potential issues is all in a day (and night's) work!
May Days...
This month, it's all about the exhibitions! The team are hard at work on design concepts and visuals for exhibitions later this year.
We will also be on-site overseeing the installation, and adding the finishing touches, to a few near-complete stands in May. As the momentum builds towards each exhibition, it always generates excitement within the team to finally see the months of concept refinement take shape before our eyes!
Don't forget to keep an eye on our posts for the latest Primary happenings and share our newsletter with anyone you think may like to subscribe.
Have a great month, everyone!
