We would like to inform you that the Department of State (DOS) has recently released the April 2025 visa bulletin.???
Additionally, USCIS has confirmed that individuals in the US should refer to the Dates for Filing Chart for family-sponsored preference categories and the Final Action Dates Chart for employment-sponsored preference categories when filing their adjustment of status applications. All Chargeability Areas refers to all other countries not specifically listed in the visa bulletin.?
FAMILY-BASED CATEGORIES
The following updates were made under the Final Action Dates chart.?
? F-1: All Chargeability Areas, China and India advanced approximately 4 months to March 15, 2016. Mexico advanced approximately 2 months to January 1, 2005, while the Philippines advanced approximately 4 months to July 15, 2012.?
? F-2A: All Chargeability Areas, China, India, Mexico, and the Philippines remain unchanged.?
? F-2B: All Chargeability Areas, China and India advanced 2 months to July 22, 2016. Mexico advanced 6 months to January 1, 2006, while the Philippines advanced 3 months to January 22, 2012.??
? F-3: All Chargeability Areas, China, and India advanced 9 months to April 1, 2011. Mexico advanced approximately 2 months to January 15, 2001, while the Philippines advanced 2 months to March 22, 2003.??
? F-4: All Chargeability Areas and China remain unchanged. India advanced 2 months and 1 week to June 15, 2006. Mexico advanced 2 weeks to March 15, 2001, while the Philippines advanced by approximately 2.5 months to January 1, 2005.?

? F-1: All Chargeability Areas, China, India, and the Philippines remain unchanged. Mexico advanced 6 months to April 1, 2006.??
? F-2A: All Chargeability Areas, China, India, Mexico and the Philippines advanced 3 months to October 15, 2024.?
? F-2B:? All Chargeability Areas, China, India, and the Philippines remain unchanged. Mexico advanced 6 months to April 1, 2007.?
? F-3: All Chargeability Areas, China, India, and Mexico remain unchanged. The Phillippines advanced approximately 4.5 months to September 22, 2004.?
? F-4: All Chargeability Areas and China advanced 1 month to April 1, 2008. India advanced approximately 1.5 months to October 1, 2006. Mexico and the Philippines remain unchanged. ?
EMPLOYMENT-BASED CATEGORIES
The following updates were made under the Final Action Dates chart
? EB-1: No changes were made to the EB-1 category. All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines remain current. ? ?
? EB-2: All Chargeability Areas advanced by approximately 1.5 months to June 22, 2023. China advanced by approximately 5 months to October 1, 2020. India advanced by 1 month to January 1, 2013. Mexico and the Phillippines advanced by 1 month and 1 week to June 22, 2023.?
? EB-3: All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines advanced 1 month to January 1, 2023. China advanced 3 months to November 1, 2020, while India advanced 2 months to April 1, 2013.?
? EB-3 Other Workers: All Chargeability Areas and Mexico advanced approximately 4 months to May 22, 2021. China advanced 3 months to April 1, 2017. India advanced 2 months to April 1, 2013.? The Philippines advanced 4 months and 1 week to May 22, 2021.?
? EB-4 & EB-4 Certain Religious Workers: The U.S. State Department, with USCIS, has issued all of the available immigrant visas for the EB-4 category, which includes visas for certain religious workers. The category was closed on February 28, 2025. Thus, U.S. embassies and consulates can't issue any more visas in this category until the new fiscal year starts on October 1, 2025. When the new fiscal year begins, they can start issuing EB-4 visas again to qualified applicants.?
? EB-5 Unreserved: Chian retrogressed by approximately 2 years and 6 months. India retrogressed by 2 years and 2 months. All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines remain current.?
? EB-5 Set Aside (Rural, High Unemployment, and Infrastructure): There were no changes made to the EB-5 Set Aside categories. All countries remain current. This confirms that EB-5 applicants in the US on a valid nonimmigrant status are still eligible to concurrently file the I-526E, I-131, I-765, and I-485 forms.?
The following updates were made under the Dates for Filing Chart:
? EB-1: No changes were made to the EB-1 category. All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines remain current. ??
? EB-2: China advanced 1 month to November 1, 2020, and India advanced 1 month to February 1, 2013. All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines remain unchanged.?
? EB-3: No changes were made to the EB-3 category.?
? EB-3 Other Workers: All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines advanced by 1 month to June 22, 2021. China and India remain unchanged. ?
? EB-4 and EB-4 Certain Religious Workers: No changes were made to the EB-4 categories.?
? EB-5 Unreserved: There were no changes made to the EB-5 Unreserved category. All Chargeability Areas, Mexico, and the Philippines remain current.?

NOTE:?The growing demand for EB-5 visas?has made it necessary to retrogress the final action?dates under the EB-5?unreserved?categories for China and India. Establishing Final Action Dates for other countries may become necessary if demand and use continue to increase. This situation will be continually monitored, and any necessary adjustments will be made accordingly.
