Meet the team - Our fantastic Country Lead Thomas

And last but certainly not least – it's time for our Team Denmark to take the spotlight! Let's give a warm welcome to Thomas H?yer Haug Hartmann ! ????

1?? What's your role at Readpeak and how long have you been with us?

I am Business Director / Country Manager in Denmark and I have been with the company since December 2021, so I am already a seasoned employee with Readpeak.

2?? What's your favourite part about working at Readpeak?

I love the fact that we are pioneering an already existing product and doing it by raising the bar when it comes to quality, transparency and efficiency.

3?? What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I have a lot of passions outside of work from DIY projects and travelling, but the one that I would like to highlight here is my work as a volunteer football coach for a large group of 13 year old kids. Making a positive impact in their lives and contributing and giving back to the local community is such a fulfilling task, that I have become dependant of this work.

4?? If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

Oh there are so many interesting and relevant historical people that I would love to have dinner with. The thing is, if we forget our history we will repeat it, and that includes the dark times in our history. Given where we are today with war and conflicts taking place and a turn towards nationalism and protectionism I would love to have a chat with Churchill and Rosevelt who through resilience brought peace to Europe and Anne Frank who was a innocent victim of this nationalism, protectionism and wars, so we can re-learn to seek international cooperation and peace.

5?? What's your favourite quote or motto that you live by?

Well, this one is difficult, but it is actually a line from a Danish song that goes; “Kys det nu, det satans liv. Og grib det, fang det”. Translated it would be: “kiss it now, that goddamn life. And grab it. Capture it”. So basically Carpe Diem - just with a lot more passion - and urgency to live your life while you are living it.

6?? What's one thing on your bucket list that you're determined to accomplish

Most of the things on my bucket list are related to travelling, but in this case I will not limit it to just 1 thing. Travelling, with my family, to French Polynesia and the unspoiled nature and society you can find there is one.. The other is a trip to Argentina, and long night filled with Tango, Chile, Peru and Costa Rica…
