2024 Q1 Recap

Time flies when you are busy! Here are a few highlights from our Q1:

  • Members of Team Vivo from our Singapore Office, Colombo Office and London Office were deployed to China to work together on site for a project.
  • We have begun implementing a new Vendor Registration Form that improves accountability for a more sustainable supply chain.

  • We received our first Starlink Project, which is currently underway.
  • We have begun using 3D modeling to improve the efficiency of the fabrication and assembly process.
  • Two of our engineers from Sri Lanka completed the BOSIET training in Singapore.

Yinson Production’s FPSO Atlanta is En Route to Brazil

Yinson Production’s FPSO Atlanta set sail to Brazil on March 21st, marking the successful completion of the project execution phase, and is expected to arrive in the Atlanta field in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil during the second quarter 2024. FPSO Atlanta has a production capacity of 50,000 barrels of oil per day and a maximum storage capacity of 1,200,000 barrels.

The project, carried out at Drydocks World Dubai, was completed safely with over 9 million man-hours without lost time incident. FPSO Atlanta is the second of three FPSOs Yinson Production is delivering to clients in Brazil.

MODEC Gets FEED Job for Shell’s Gato do Mato FPSO

MODEC has secured the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract for a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) system for Shell’s Gato do Mato development, offshore Brazil. MODEC will be responsible for the design of the hull and all related topsides facilities for the FPSO.

Gato do Mato is a deepwater pre-salt oil and gas discovery located in the Santos Basin. The Gato do Mato FPSO will be moored at a water depth of approximately 2,000 meters, some 250 kilometers off the coast of Brazil.
