Racial Equity in the Food System Workgroup?
Shared kitchen operators are invited to join the "A Call to Redistribute Resources and Power: Race Equity Dialogue in the Agrifood Business Space" webinar, hosted by the national Racial Equity in the Food System workgroup. This event explores diversifying leadership in the food and agriculture system, focusing on how initiatives like the USDA's Regional Food Business Centers can better serve underserved farmers, ranchers, and food businesses.? The webinar will be hosted live, in part, from the 2024 Food Summit and Texas Hispanic Farm & Rancher Conference in the Rio Grande Valley region of Texas. Following the webinar, the USDA Equity Report Roll Out will be live-streamed at 5:30 p.m. ET. This event, and all remaining conference events through April 27th are free and open to the public for registration.
