April 2024: A Month of Growth and Global Collaboration at GAAPP
Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform
Empowering patients with allergies, airways, and atopic diseases around the world.
This April, the Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform (GAAPP) has witnessed significant milestones and dynamic growth. As flowers bloom across the globe, so does our community, with new members and vital initiatives that continue to advance our mission of enhancing the lives of those living with allergies, atopic, and respiratory diseases.
From Tonya Winders, President of GAAPP:
"April has swiftly passed, and with it, our community has not only grown in numbers but also in spirit and determination. We warmly welcome our new member organizations from Argentina, China, and Colombia, each bringing unique perspectives and strengths to our collective efforts.
This month also marks a significant transition for the American Association of Immunological Disorders (AAIDA), which has decided to dissolve and merge its efforts and assets with GAAPP. This move ensures that the important work initiated by AAIDA will continue under our broader umbrella. We are grateful to Lauren Dunlap and the entire AAIDA team for their tireless advocacy and contributions, and we look forward to advancing their mission together."
