Training News

This month, a training was led by Martyn Yule, Technical Support, and Eddie Cruz, Field Service Engineer, which focused on the Genevac HT Series 3 and MiVac systems. Over the course of four days in Kuala Lumpur, participants were guided through a comprehensive program that covered various aspects including installation procedures, an overview of evaporation and system functionalities specific to the Genevac HT Series 3, preventive maintenance (PM), user training, Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification (IQOQ), and fault-finding techniques. The training was attended by professionals from India, China, and Malaysia, fostering a diverse learning environment. Our combined expertise and collaborative approach ensured a successful and enriching training experience for all attendees.

Employee Spotlight

Martyn Yule started with Genevac in May 2000 and has since become an invaluable member of our team, demonstrating remarkable growth and adaptability throughout his tenure. Beginning as one of four final test engineers, Martyn played a crucial role in testing and repairing series one and series two models, as well as fixing boards across various ranges. Transitioning into service, Martyn embraced multiple roles, including production engineer and applications specialist, over a span of six years. His innovative approach to training and technical documentation, such as upgrades, SATs, and calibration videos, has consistently elevated our service offerings, reflecting his passion for challenges and commitment to skill development.

Outside of work, Martyn leads a vibrant personal life filled with family, fitness, and music. Martyn is an accomplished martial artist, trained by legends like Bill Wallace and 5-time UFC champion Frank Shamrock. He also enjoys traveling with his family, attending events with his wife, playing the ukulele, and continuously learning new skills. Recently, he completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from Open University.

Martyn's commitment extends beyond his core roles. Since 2013, he has been instrumental in developing and delivering global training for evaporator ranges, mentoring engineers worldwide. He has also trained on specific systems like Genesis and Advantage Pro and authored the IQOQ training for Lyostars. Recently, Martyn updated our service portal, enhancing engineers' access to essential documents and videos. As a devoted Elvis fan, Martyn embodies Elvis's motto of "TCB" (Taking Care of Business), always focusing on how tasks can be accomplished rather than questioning their feasibility, making him an exceptional asset to our team.
