April 2024: Embedded environments, sales team automations, and the return of the Automate conference
Hey there, automation enthusiasts! ??
Spring is springing, April Fool's Day jokes have come and gone, and here at Workato, we're gearing up for a very eventful season. Yesterday, we announced the return of our annual Automate conference, which will take place in San Mateo, California this August. Our team has also been hard at work fine-tuning our platform to better meet our customers' ever-evolving needs. I've outlined the highlights below, but this barely scratches the surface when it comes to all the new and exciting things happening in our world.
Automate is back
The #1 automation conference is returning this August to the Bay Area. This year, we're thrilled to bring this 3-day event to a new venue: San Mateo County Events Center. Because nothing says California summer quite like festivals and food trucks, you can expect both – and much, much more – at this year's automation celebration.
Trust me when I say you'll want to register early for this one. For more info, visit our website.

Automation Institute
Pro of the Month
Congratulations to Luke Beard , Principal Consultant at DWS , for being Automation Institute’s top learner last month. Below, you'll find our takeaways from a recent conversation we had with Luke:
How did learning about automation impact your professional career goals and aspirations?
Understanding and implementing automation has been crucial in my professional journey. Using automation tools and integrated systems to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and drive innovation has been essential to my personal and corporate projects. Integrating automation into my workflows has greatly enhanced productivity and organizational effectiveness.
What advice would you give to others considering a career in automation?
Automation involves understanding processes and data, and working together across different areas to achieve great results. It includes organizing the details of "who, what, where, and when" for both processes and data management. While knowing programming languages and software development can help, it's not necessary. What's most important is building strong relationships among people, processes, and data for successful automation in a business.
