New Artist

Ella Ginn

We're excited?to announce that?Ella Ginn has joined the?Folio roster!

Starting out as an in-house illustrator for a packaging design company, Ella was able to hone her skills and gain plenty of experience?before moving into freelance. She now works on many different projects, crafting beautiful?designs for a whole?range of brands and publishing clients.??

On top of that, Ella's?training?at?London Print Studio?shines through. With expertise in?lino cut, screen?prints,?and etching, she's able to remould?these techniques in digital form, giving her portfolio a lovely?hand-made quality.?

In this theatrical poster for?the?Criterion Collection,?Karolis?expertly captures the drama and intrigue of H?tel du Nord, an iconic French film.?

"Anguished young lovers, fallen women, wanted criminals, and all manner of social castoffs: these are the disreputable denizens of the H?tel du Nord, an atmospherically seedy boardinghouse on the bustling banks of the Canal Saint-Martin in Paris, whose lives collide in Marcel Carné’s bittersweet rhapsody?of romance, betrayal, revelry, and violence."

In celebration of the newly released?"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania"? film,?Disney?hand-picked a selection of artists to illustrate posters for this Marvel?Studios blockbuster. Alexander's cinematic style was a perfect fit to capture the?mind-blowing visuals of the Quantum Realm.

Known for combining fresh ideas with incredible skills in paper engineering, this project was no different for Ollanski!

Sculpting and staging a "Scandinavian planet" for the cover of PEAB's climate and sustainability magazine V?gsk?l, the intricacies of his work shine through. Designed in zones to reflect the chapters?within, these were photographed more closely for section openers?—?Develop, Build, and Live.
