Emtelle And KEZAD Group jointly break ground at new regional hub in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Emtelle and Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi - KEZAD Group broke ground on one of the world’s largest facilities for the manufacture, distribution and R&D of blown fibre units and ducted network solutions in Abu Dhabi.

This ground-breaking represents the beginning of Phase 1 of the three phases of development of our new facility, being jointly overseen by KEZAD under its Build-to-Suit solution.

QWK-Range: The Future is Pre-Connectorised.

Pre-connectorised fibre solutions are becoming increasingly popular in the industry due to their ease of installation, reduced labour costs, and decreased installation time. The QWK-Range from Emtelle offers game-changing products that offer all these benefits and more.

Our QWK-Range consists mainly of our patented QWKconnect and QWKlink systems:

• QWKconnect is a pre-connectorised fibre drop cable for FTTH that offers product and installation cost savings, and a reduction in installation equipment. The fibre is pre-installed and pre-connectorised into a microduct during manufacture, meaning that no blowing or fibre splicing is required, thus offering a simple product requiring a reduced skill set and training for the install.
• QWKlink pre-connected fibre bundle allows for fibre connectors on both ends, eliminating the need to splice fibres for FTTX drop applications. The pre-ferruled fibre can be blown into ducts, installed along walls or into overhead blown fibre networks. These pre-connected fibre bundles can be blown from 25 metres up to over 1000 metres in new & existing blown fibre routes.

The QWK-Range includes a variety of fibre types, including single-mode, multimode, and hybrid options. This allows for greater flexibility in network design and deployment, as well as the ability to tailor solutions to specific customer needs.

Our QWK-Range has also now been upgraded to now make use of our FibreFast cables. This change allows us to build upon the same great product but with faster speeds and improved performance.

Overall, the QWK-Range is a superior pre-connectorised fibre solution that is well-suited for a variety of applications, including data centres, FTTx deployments, and more.

It was an amazing opportunity to attend the first annual Connected America at the end of March. It was an incredible event where our fantastic sales team showed our innovative products and solutions in action.

Solutions Manager, Scot Bohaychyk , spoke on the ‘Path to Full fibre’ panel, alongside other industry experts and leaders. He went on to present 'The Next generation of fibre deployment: Using the advancements in Air Blown Fibre to meet (or beat) your fibre deployment goals'.

This presentation explored how the use of blown-fibre technology can offer a quicker, cost-effective and sustainable alternative when compared to the more traditional installation methods used in the?United States.
