NEW QUARTER, NEW LINKEDIN
It’s not just you thinking about your 6mth goals - LinkedI announced its own roadmap with a host of new features, the main one being… SCHEDULING for both company and personal pages.?
Yes, some people could do this in late 2022, but this has now been rolled out to all users so you may have noticed a little ?? in the bottom right when you start a new post on your mobile app too.
This allows you to schedule posts natively within the LinkedIn platform.
LinkedIn knows, as we do, that Thought Leadership is the essential focus for 2023 and that means giving you the ability to schedule a weeks worth of posts before you’ve even finished your first Monday coffee.
Try it out and then answer the following question.
Would you find it easier to make sales and onboard clients if you were perceived as a leader in your space?

?Do you have an opinion?
Here’s a controversial thought - opinions are useful, even when they’re wrong.
Now let us soften that a little by saying that we're talking about considered opinion, more so than the random thoughts of someone who thinks they know *everything* (we all know at least one of them!).
However, we don’t refine the subject knowledge in our industry when everyone sits on the fence - and the reality is, everyone will be proven to be at least partially wrong in time.
We are constantly improving the body of information and context we use to make sense of the world so what seems right today may need to be revised when we shed more light on the subject later.
The key here is that OPINION is the tool we use to direct conversation and it is also the tool we use to engage our followers. If you want to post content people are interested in then you need to have something to say and it’s far more helpful for your opinion to be voiced clearly than for you to hide it for fear you might be wrong.
This year is the year of thought leadership - so if you’re willing to be a leader in your industry… let’s hear your opinion!
