April 18, 2022 DevNexus Wrap Up

It was a fun week at DevNexus in Atlanta, great developers, community and vendors. I am impressed with the strength of the Java community. There were also so many great companies based around Atlanta, nice to see them send some many developers. I got to see some friends from CockroachDB Thanks to everyone who attended my talk. We had some Mac 4k->regular HDMI issues and a networking glitch on the demos, so I have some videos for people to see now.

Java 11 runs really well on a Raspberry Pi, even a RPI 3.

I got to talk to the people at Gradle and I am going to be moving my demos over. I also got to talk to some of the Java people at Oracle and it's time to get moving to JDK 17.
