For centuries, camel urine has been used by camel herding cultures to treat a variety of severe illnesses. Many conventional methods are being replaced with cutting-edge medical procedures and coverage as a result of modern medical advancements. Traditional methods are still highly valued in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, housing, and other endeavors. Traditionally, camel urine has been strongly supported for complex diseases with sluggish or no prognoses or poorly identified. Additionally, some individuals believe in the use of camel urine as a natural remedy.
In my opinion, it is not advisable to use camel urine carelessly. We require exact scientific procedures to have a deeper comprehension of this natural commodity. I believe it to be a product that a living, functioning body rejects and excretes from the body. My theory is founded on the philosophical knowledge that a substance that the body rejects and excretes is not likely to be a treatment for complex illnesses. However, because of the peculiar physiology of camels, I do think that camel urine would contain compounds that are good for your health. The harmful consequences of urine should be considered, as they can be quite harmful in certain situations, particularly when nephritis, hepatitis, etc.

Abstract of a study in Morocco
The therapeutic use of camel urine (CU) has shown an increasing trend in recent decades for treating diverse ailments and infections. An ethnopharmacological survey was conducted to collect and document the ethnomedicinal knowledge of local people in the Saharan region of Morocco, including the Laayoune Sakia El Hamra and Guelmim Oued Noun regions, regarding the traditional use of CU for treatment. Semi-structured interviews with 384 traditional practitioners, camel herders, and rural and urban dwellers were conducted from December 2022 to June 2023. The collected data covered diseases treated, CU quality attributes, modes of preparation, dosage, administration, treatment duration, and mild side effects. Quantitative data analysis was performed through the relative frequency of citations, informant consensus factor, informant agreement ratio, cultural importance index, and fidelity level. The results showed that CU was collected from virgin female camels (46.7%) and pregnant camels (51.6%) at different age stages (39.7%) in both wet and dry seasons (57.5%). For the treatment of the most common ailments (cancer, liver diseases, gastric ulcers, diabetes, and tuberculosis), accounting for 69%, the recommended regimen involved orally consuming one teacup (69%) of fresh urine (70.6%) on an empty stomach (91.1%) once a day (87.1%) four days a week (56%). In the case of integumentary system problems, applying one (13.2%) to three teaspoons (17.8%) topically (10.3%) was also effective. Secondary effects occurred in 48 cases (13.8%), including diarrhea (13 cases), nausea (11 cases), headache (7 cases), constipation (7 cases), and dry mouth (8 cases). The duration of these effects ranged from 2 to 3 hours. The present survey indicates that CU is still used in traditional medicine by local inhabitants of the southern regions of Morocco to cure various human illnesses. The outlined findings strongly suggest the usefulness of CU as a valuable source of bioactive molecules for pharmaceutical, and dermocosmeceutical applications, and for developing innovative food supplements that promote significant job creation and entrepreneurial prospects.

2 个月Sofia from Pakistan You are absolutely right. Our advice was that just as we use scorpion and snake venom for medicine, there should be no objection if we do scientific research on camel urine and find out a way to use it. We all know that it is a combination of water and other elements in the body. But it is also worth noting that the camel is the only animal whose kidneys work differently than other animals. There should be an open discussion on this topic so that we can get to the root of it. Surely there is some wisdom hidden in it, as it has been used for centuries. With future research and development it can also be used to make medicines which will be a new profitable invention. I apologize if my English is weak or something seems unclear. We intended to speak in a positive tone. thank you

2 个月Comment by Lilliane Doonders Thank you for sharing. Camel urine does wonders to ones body. The most important effect I had was that my liver was cleaned after days, drinking it for 40. Also, I felt my body regained power after being treated for breast cancer. The chemo especially damages your body more than you can imagine. It helped me an, of course, drinking lots of delicious camelmilk.
