Apprentices at KP Snacks: Suzanne's story
For National Apprenticeship Week , a few of our KP Snacks colleagues share their thoughts on the apprenticeship experience.
Hi, I’m Suzanne I started with KP Snacks Teesside in May 2022 as a Process Lead. I work on Line 1 (McCoy’s multipack) within a team of 33 colleagues.
The best part of my apprenticeship is that I get to learn and develop myself every day. I’m lucky enough to travel to other factories around the UK and meet new people and learn new work practices. In our Process Leader apprenticeship, we are a team of 5. It has been lovely working together and sharing ideas and as a team we can pass knowledge on to each other and look at things from a different perspective. I really enjoy doing the assignments for each module we cover.
If you are considering an apprenticeship, I would say definitely go for it!?Doing an apprenticeship helps you grow as an individual and can make you think about things differently. It will also give you confidence in your current position at work as well as open doors to new opportunities within the company.
