Appreciation

This would normally be a short post I'd see on my feed, but I wanted to show a little professional gratitude because I think especially today, Christmas Day, though I don't celebrate, the spirit is in my heart.

It's been such an interesting journey that took me into this job that I now do. I also think about some of the amazingly talented, intelligent, good people I've had the privilege to meet over the years.

As someone who's now in his 40s, I've also come to appreciate the relationships that I've developed over the years, some of whom have even grown to become friends. I find that fascinating, and also very touching that in our growing digital age, some of these relationships were able to form.

Some acknowledgement, respect and gratitude in no particular order, but more so as an excuse (and reminder) for some of these people to also keep in touch. So many of us get "too busy" with life, sometimes we get too busy with living that we forget what we're living for. I love the holidays for the reminder that for many of us, there's an underlying purpose that many of us driving at and keep moving forward for.
