Appreciate Your Strengths
This week, choose one of your strengths and reflect on how it showed up for you. Think about a moment when you leaned into that strength—maybe it helped you reach a goal, navigate a challenging conversation, or plan a critical step. Write it down and consider how you can build on that success in the coming week.
Build Your Mental Fitness
When you start catching your saboteurs, you begin to lessen their power over your mindset and behaviours. Activating your self-command mode through your sage powers is key to building mental fitness. Your first sage power is Empathize—and there are three ways to use it: for yourself, for others, and for situations. Interested in learning more about how to harness these approaches? Get in touch, and let’s explore together!
Cultivate Curious Leadership
Effective leadership means preventing biases from clouding your decision-making. This week, take a moment to identify the biases you need to watch out for:
- Confirmation Bias: The tendency to favor information that confirms your preexisting beliefs.
- Availability Bias: Relying too heavily on information that’s readily available.
- Survivorship Bias: Focusing on successful examples while ignoring failures.
- Anchoring Bias: Relying too much on the first piece of information encountered.
- Halo Effect: Allowing one positive trait to influence your overall judgment.
Understanding these biases is the first step to making clearer, more informed decisions that empower your leadership.
Looking forward to hearing how you’re using your strengths, building mental fitness, and navigating leadership challenges. Let’s keep the conversation going—reply to this newsletter or connect on LinkedIn!
