Appointment Announcement: Welcome Senior Associate, Jonathon Wright

We are delighted to introduce Senior Associate, Jonathon Wright, to the Travis Schultz & Partners Brisbane team.?

With nearly a decade of experience in personal injury law, Jonathon adds much expertise to our team, specifically having represented many clients under the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld). Focusing on WorkCover Queensland and large, self-insured entities, his specialisation spans the entire spectrum of workers’ compensation claims, covering statutory claims, pre-proceedings, and litigation.?

Jonathon champions ‘fairness’ in his work and his journey so far has been shaped by a profound belief in the positive impact compensation law can have on lives. Having initially worked as a defendant lawyer, he has a deep understanding of how to achieve the most favourable outcomes for his clients.?

We are fortunate to have him join our team as a true advocate for claimants, taking every possible step to level the playing field and maximize outcomes. A quiet achiever, he is a kind, genuine family man who enjoys a Brisbane Lions game and spending quality time with his young daughter.?

When asked about why Jonathon felt our firm was the right fit, he remarked that the honest fee structure gave him confidence that his clients would leave with the peace of mind that they had received the lion’s share of the settlement.?

Jonathon was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2015 and the High Court of Australia in 2020.? He also dedicates his time to the Queensland Law Society, Australian Insurance Law Association, and the Young Insurance Professionals Society.?
