2.1 Main Structure
·?Feeding system:The belt conveyor is used to make the ore stably enter the scanning area to ensure the accuracy of detection and separation.
·?Detecting system:An X-ray source is installed on the top of the system and, after the ray irradiates the ore, the detector receives the X-ray signal and converts & collects it. Then uploads it to the data processing system.
·?Data Processing system:Using the AI algorithm to analyze the ore image and data, achieving the recognition of the ore and waste. At the same time, it is decided whether the target ore (waste) needs to be removed by blowing.

The XRT separation system is applied to the flash antimony industry. The main belt width is 1.6m, the running speed is 3m/s, the block particle size range is -90+15 mm, the processing capacity is 40 ~ 80t/h, the main equipment dimension is 8 m(l) x 2m(W) x 2m(H).
2.3?Working Principle
After the raw ore is broken and screened by the mineral processing production line, the block ore that meets the requirements of the granularity of the separation system is transported to the vibration feeder;After being dispersed by vibration, the block ore falls to the high-speed belt. After running forward for 1-2 m, the stable speed is obtained and the ore flow evenly spread on the belt is formed.
When the ore flows directly below the ray source, the X-ray excited by high pressure irradiates from top to bottom in the form of the sector. The ore block passing through the sector on the belt will weaken the intensity of the ray, so that the X-ray penetrating the ore will be attenuated to different degrees due to the content of metal elements in the rock.A detector below the belt can sense the intensity of the attenuated X-rays and convert the information into photoelectric digital signals, which are transmitted to an industrial computer for processing through a gigabit network card.The ray sector will cover the effective width of the belt, and the detector will be the same width as the belt, ensuring that every ore on the belt is detected.
Intelligent sorting software is run in the industrial computer to conduct imaging processing and analysis and identification of the data collected by the detector. According to the sorting parameters set in advance, the marked rocks are identified as low-grade waste rocks or high-grade ores. Meanwhile, the position information of the marked rocks is sent to the injection control unit.

3 Capable of sorting process implementation
After on-site investigation, two sets of XRT intelligent separation system were introduced in the mining and beneficiation plant and the South mine beneficiation plant, which can not only replace manual separation, but also expand the capacity of the beneficiation plant.
The separation process of the mining and dressing plant is shown in Figure 2. The two separators can be run simultaneously or alternately.After crushing and screening, the size of the block ore is controlled in the range of -90+15 mm, and 1#or 2#?can be selected through the herb-shaped hopper.Feeding belts, or both belts feeding at the same time.The block ore is transferred to the vibrating feeder by the feeding belt, and is divided into two parts, the waste rock and the ore, and the waste rock is divided into 1#?and 2#.The waste rock conveyors are assembled and processed, and the ore is transferred to the next process by the 1#?and 2#?ore conveyors.
The separation process of South Mine is shown in Figure 3. From April to May 2018, XRT intelligent separation system was successively put into use in South Mine and mining and dressing plant.One shift (8h) per day in the mining and concentrating plant is about 450t of raw ore block ore, and two shifts (16h) per day in the South mine concentrating plant is about 900t of raw ore block ore, with antimony grade ≤ 1.5%.The actual working time of each shift of the separation system is about 6 h, the actual output is about 80 t/ h, and the waste discarting rate is about 70%. The average grade of antimony in the tailings of the South Mine is less than 0.1%, and that of the tailings of the mining and dressing plant is less than 0.15%.Figure 4 and Figure 5 show the statistics of some students in January and February of 2019?Average daily production and tailings grade data.After the XRT intelligent sorting system was put into use, it completely replaced the manual selection, which not only liberated a large number of workers from the harsh working environment, but also improved the accuracy of waste rock sorting and reduced the loss of antimony metal.
The waste rock thrown out by the separation system will no longer enter the production process after mechanical separation, which can greatly save the production cost, and the amount of ore entering the grinding, flotation, tailings treatment and other processes will be reduced in a large proportion.It is estimated that the introduction of XRT intelligent sorting system can generate more than 7 million yuan of economic benefits for XX antimony industry every year.
After continuous optimization of the sorting system, the output of a single machine is up to 80t/h, and two sorting equipment in each plant can be turned on for production to handle the current output, which provides support for the plant to further expand the output.
