Application of Sunwoele VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) in Haitian Plastic Machinery
AC servo is a special AC synchronous motor. The rotor is a permanent magnet with high magnetic energy, and the stator is a high silicon steel sheet embedded with distributed copper wire windings. An encoder is added to the end of the motor. Even if the power is turned on, an independent servo motor cannot work normally. It is a follow-up execution part and cannot be separated from the input of the control signal. Therefore, no matter how good the servo motor is, it cannot be separated from the driver.
Sunwoele VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) is mainly used to drive AC synchronous motors. It can be connected to several speed feedback encoders that are more commonly used on the market: square wave photoelectric encoder (with U, V, W signals), analog rotary transformer, sine and cosine encoder, Endat encoder, and absolute encoder.
This test uses a Sunwoele HSF600 VFD (Variable-frequency Drive), which has a three-phase 380V input, 18.5KW power, and a built-in brake unit. The AC synchronous motor drive dedicated VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) load is the HT series hollow shaft AC servo motor produced by Haitian Plastic Machinery, and is equipped with a Tamagawa Resolver rotary transformer for testing. The motor has a rated voltage of 380V, a rated speed of 2010RPM, and a power of 11KW. Because of the simpler test platform, we used a multi-speed setting method for this test.
The main performance indicators of the servo motor application are noise, stability, current, etc. We paid attention to the above key factors with multiple speeds from 0-2010RPM.
1. Noise: Running at no-load at a speed of 200\500\1000\1500\2000RPM, basically no noise can be heard.

2. Stability: When running at 200\500\1000\1500\2000RP with no load, the feedback speed monitored from VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) basically changes within 1RPM, so the running stability can still meet the requirements under no-load conditions.
3. Current: When running at 200\500\1000\1500\2000RP with no load, the output current monitored by VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) is in the range of 0.8-2.5A, which is proportional to the running speed.
The above tests show that the cooperation between Sunwoele VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) and HT series hollow shaft AC servo motor produced by Haitian Plastic Machinery in no-load tests is quite satisfactory.
According to the analysis of the actual working conditions of the plastic machine, the plastic machine only controls the motor speed. The control command comes from the analog output of the plastic machine control system, and the VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) itself does not need to perform pressure loop PID adjustment. Therefore, it is inferred that there should be no problem using Sunwoele HSF600 VFD (Variable-frequency Drive) as a drive on the plastic machine using the HT series hollow shaft AC servo motor.
