How do you shift the mindset of business leading initiatives and outcomes, rather than engineering leading the right outcomes for customers?

I think it is both in partnership leading the right outcomes for customers. IT strategy is pivoted to business strategy and makes business strategy more visible, actionable and result-oriented. But, instead of doing it sequentially, I believe, the strategy has to be done in partnership, with an approach of learning and refinement, to go beyond and invent business models like Uber etc. The business is accountable for achieving the "what" of the OKR while tech becomes one of the "hows".
