The Application Process is Broken - People are what is important

This past year has been an amazing journey. I stopped consulting for a company I probably should never have joined, dove head first in to my wife's company and ended up building it to a reasonable six (6) figure annual gross all while living my life with intention, direction and helping people along the way.

You see, I turned down an opportunity in the Bay Area because I thought I should go another direction. Hind sight is 20/20 and what a learning experience! I will say this, the professional and personal network I created along the way amazes even me. The work that is being done by these people will change the world.

I have applied to over 1,000 jobs, big and small, over the past year. I have had interviews on the phone and in person. I even joined a few companies starting up in the health tech and biotech space.

Today I am still looking for that right fit in an organization that values people, understands life transitions and taking time to do other things and wants someone that has broad understanding of the healthcare space.

I see interconnections in complex systems and can bring teams together to solve them through alignment, strategy, direction and empathy.

Yep empathy. You have to understand what your partners are going through in order to work together to make things better for the patient and everyone else.
